Career Coaching
for Undergraduates

Students whose majors don't align with their strengths and interests are less likely to graduate on time and more likely to drop out of college

You’ve been admitted to your college of choice and suddenly your presented with even more decisions and choices. Whether you find yourself in the beginning, middle or end of your collegiate studies, coaching can assist in mapping a clear direction.

Selecting The Wrong Major Can Be An Expensive Mistake

Perhaps you’re having second thoughts about your major or stressed out about how to launch your career after graduation. In any event, clarity about your strengths and an understanding of the type of work you want to pursue will help you chart a successful course in life.

The Career Coach can help you map your collegiate career path through exercises and tools that bring clarity and understanding to your choices.

The Coaching Program

The Career Coach offers a comprehensive, individualized program that will help you evaluate a wide range of factors — your talents, aptitudes, interests, values and more — to discover the college major, trade and ultimate career path that’s the right fit for you.

Classroom Lecture

Session 01: Current State Assessment

You may have entered college with one major in mind and now find yourself with questions.  In our first conversation we will review if that major still aligns and any concerns or questions that you may have.  We will discuss your current declared major and what is required to gain greater clarity and confidence in your career path.

Session 02: Strengths, Aptitudes, Interests and Values Alignment

In our second career coaching session we will review your strengths and interests and discuss how those may or may not align with a given college major.  We will also discuss your aptitudes and values and how those may impact your direction and your best career fit.

Session 03: What's Your Passion!

Having reviewed your strengths and interests we can now spend time on your goals in your future career...we will highlight key personal objectives and explore how those align with certain college majors. We will have a conversation about the things that get you excited to “show up” and motivate you to be your best.

Session 04: Great News!

Our coaching doesn’t have to end with four sessions.  As an established client, you can book additional sessions at a reduced rate on an ongoing basis.

Coaching is also available to assist with writing your resume and LinkedIn profile, establishing, and improving interview skills as well as defining & developing your personal brand.
